For the first time, we are offering you a great opportunity to kick off the day with purpose, connection, and a splash of saltwater.
Our Sunrise Surf Sessions are all about mental health awareness, community spirit, and the joy of surfing. In collaboration with local legends Let’s Go Surfing and Surf Getaways, plus inspiring groups like the All Girls Surfriders, we’re creating a space for everyone to feel included and uplifted.
Whether you’re a beginner keen to catch your first wave or an experienced surfer ready for a morning session, there’s something for you.

Welcome
LET’S BEGIN WITH A BREATHWORK SESSION
Together with Sea Fit Therapy, we are starting the day together with a breathwork exercise on the grass in front of the Lennox Hotel.
Please arrive at 6:30 am, so that we can enjoy this moment and assign you to the right surf group!
Beginners/
Intermediate
As a thank you to the Lennox community, LetsGoSurfing is offering free surf lessons for local kids and adults, whether you’re a beginner or ready to level up. All gear is included, from softboards and wetsuits to zinc and sun protection.
The session starts at 6:30 am on Saturday, 14 June, right in front of the Lennox Hotel, and includes a calming welcome, a guided breathing exercise, and a full hour of wave-catching fun before the festival officially begins.

Advanced
Surf Getaways is inviting experienced surfers to join a free community paddle out to start the day strong. This relaxed, no-coaching session is a celebration of surf, sisterhood, and the Lennox spirit, hosted in partnership with the amazing All Girls Surfriders.
Bring your own board and join the crew on Saturday, 14 June at 6:30 am (in front of the Lennox Hotel). The morning begins with a welcome and grounding breathwork session, followed by a fun 1-hour surf before the Festival officially launches.
